Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring Kit Installation - 2009 Honda Fit- Video

Speaker 1: Today in our 2009 Honda Fit, we're gonna be taking a look at, and showing you show to install the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Powered Diode Wiring Kit, part number RM-154.Now whenever we're towing out Fit behind our motor home, our diode doesn't allow us to have this signal transferred into the factor lights. So when we're driving down the road, everyone knows whether we're stopping of changing lanes. Not only are the diodes gonna transfer that signal, but they're also gonna protect our vehicles wiring from any kind of back feeding that may arise in the motor home end. One of the best things about our diodes is that it's gonna be a permanent, one-time installation. We're not gonna have to worry about those magnetic lights that you typically see, running the wire from the back, all the way to the front of the vehicle and having to worry about scratches when we're driving down the road. Roadmaster FuseMaster Fuse Bypass Switch Installation - 2016 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2016 Honda Fit, we're going to be showing you how to install the Road Master Fuse Master dual fuse bypass switch for towed vehicles, rated for use with up to two 20 amp ATM mini fuses. The part number is RM76512. All right now, here's what our Fuse Master is going to look like. It's a really straightforward kit. This is going to solve the problem that we often have when we want to haul our vehicle behind our motor home and we have to pull out several fuses. This is a dual bypass, so this is going to take care of two fuses for us. The fuses can be rated all the way up to 20 amps, so it should take care of most applications. more

Roadmaster Tow Bar Wiring Kit Installation - 2016 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2016 Honda Fit, we're going to be taking look at and installing a Roadmaster Universal high-powered Diode Wiring Kit, part number RM-154.Speaker 2: Here's what the wiring looks like once it's installed on the vehicle. On this particular one, we've put on a 6 round adapter that does not come with the kit but it's mounted to our brackets that are on the base plate this kit allows you to operate the rear lights on your vehicle through the trailer wiring on the RV. The way this kit is set up, it isolates the signal coming from the RV going back to your taillights from the rest of your electrical system on the fit. That way it ensures that your electrical system on the vehicle does not get damaged by a back feed. This kit makes it really easy to hook up your vehicle and have lights so that you don't have to fight with putting any lights on top of your vehicle. Hopkins Tail Light Wiring Kit Installation - 2012 Honda Fit- Video

Today on our 2012 Honda Fit, we're going to be installing the Hopkins Custom Taillight Wiring Kit for towed vehicles, part number HM56302. To begin with, we're going to go ahead and raise the rear hatch of the vehicle, and then we're going to need to open up the access panel, there's one on each side, to gain access to the taillight wiring. Once we have those removed, we can go ahead and lift up the spare tire cover here. We're going to need to remove the rear threshold of the vehicle. To do that, you can take either a trim panel removal tool, or large flat head screwdriver, slide it under the threshold and gently work the threshold upward, releasing the tabs. Once you have the threshold removed, you can go ahead and set that aside for now. Next, we're going to need to take the connectors that have the green and red wires as part of their bundle as well as this is the connectors that have the longer section of wire attached to them. We're going to need to feed them down through the access panel here on the driver's side and come out the bottom. more

All right, today on a 2008 Honda Fit we're going to install part number 154-792-118158. This is a Roadmaster 6 Diode Universal Wiring Kit for towed vehicles with separate lighting. To start of, let's go ahead and open the back hatch. Now we're going to remove and loosen some interior components. First off, our floor covering for our spare tire, we're just going to scoot that forward. Now we need to go ahead and remove our threshold. It's a good idea to peel back on the weather strip just a little bit, and using a trim panel tool, pop it loose. more

Base Plate Wiring Harness Installation - 2010 Honda Fit- Video

Today on this 2010 Honda Fit we are going to install a diode isolating kit part number 38955. The first thing we need to do to get started is that when we take our wire harness we are going to tape up part of this and then we will do the whole length and periodically apply some tape to keep everything under control. We will let our ground loop hang out and continue on. What we are going to do is take our 4-pole first and we are going to route it down towards the grill and we are going to pull it out by our base plates. Just leave it like that for now. 00:39 more
